A weekend away

We took a somewhat spontaneous weekend away and went up to Milwaukee. And as you can see we went and saw the new Harley-Davidson museum. Justin rented a bike for a day (a newer version of what he already has, he is parked in front of a statue at the Harley shop in Milwaukee). The museum was cool, they had an engine room that showed how everything works and then of course there are all the motorcycles, from the first ones made in 1903 to the racing bikes to the King Kong, which looks like two motorcycles put together (like a tandem bike--two motors, two seats, etc.). The kids were ready to go much faster than Justin would have liked. Justin was most interested in the bikes made in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Luke and Anna tried out a few of the motorcycles that you can sit on at the end, Heidi was not in the mood. We also went to the Milwaukee Zoo while we were up there, I will post those pictures later. Overall it was a nice weekend away from home, for some reason all the girls had a hard time sleeping, I am sure the people in the next room over were not too happy with us. I just like the break from cooking, cleaning, and vacuuming and dealing with the constant mess at our house.
