Normal?

I just heard from the GI's nurse and the ultrasound and blood work from last week are normal. The liver is enlarged, but it is healthy, so the nurse said there should be no need for a biopsy because there is nothing to biopsy (I am pleased with that news). The blood tests were checking blood count and lactic acid levels. I guess this is good news. My concern is that something is causing the liver to be enlarged and something is causing the daily vomiting and increasing occurrences of diarrhea, and who knows how long it will take to figure this all out. The GI wants more blood tests at the end of the week to recheck liver function and something else. I guess we are slowly whittling away the possibilities. Patience, patience.
