I really like the speech therapist

We just finished our second session with the speech therapist, it is such a nice way to end the week because she is so encouraging and points out all the things that Emily is doing right (I get tired of hearing all the things that people think are wrong with Emily). Emily is eager to take food from a spoon and is doing great at moving her lips and tongue in the right way to take food and move it around in her mouth. The therapist said that if the swallowing thing is all structural it is much easier to work with (her brain is sending the right signals, which is good). Emily is a fast learner!
