Bragging
I just wanted to share a few quick blips from our conferences tonight. First was Luke; his teacher says that he is very attentive and patient, particularly with a young lady that sits next to him (so all those sisters of his may be teaching him a thing or two). He is doing very well with spelling and math, and is coming along in his reading. Second was Heidi, and her teacher said that she would like to take a picture of Heidi and send her to a magazine as a model student. She also loves how attentive Heidi is and how hard she works. Heidi sits, just waiting to soak up the information, and is a very helpful friend. And finally, Anna; her teacher said there is not a sweeter girl (although she supposed Heidi might also be a sweet girl). Anna is a good listener and is becoming more eager to participate. She is also a hard-worker and very patient with her peers (it sounds like she is in a loud class, with numerous "interruptions"). As a parent, there are no greater words than to hear a teacher praise your child, not just for their academic performance, but also for how they behave and how they interact with others.
