On to 1st grade

Well it is official, kindergarten is over and my babies are off to first grade in the fall, they do look a little older don't they. This also means we are in summer mode! When I asked Luke what he wanted to do this summer he said he wants a long day of playing the Wii and riding his bike. Let's see, the ENT checked Emily's hearing this week and everything is within normal ranges, it is always nice when something works the way it is supposed to. Weight gain was a little slow, she is spitting up too much so the dr. put her back on Prevacid. Emily is really talking a lot, putting together three word sentences and singing songs (she especially likes "Happy Birthday", and tells me to blow out the candle whenever we have one lit). We finally had another showing last Sunday and of course the realtor wanted to do a two day open house next weekend, but we opted out because of birthday celebrations. Justin is on a list of people who are willing to go out of town for work, but so far there is nothing. We laughed at a special on the news the other night that gave several resources to help teenagers find jobs; what about finding jobs for adults first, right. Ok, well I am off to get things ready for a party!
