A little update and a big prayer

Ok, one week away. We really can't believe we are at this point and still don't know where we are going (it certainly is not from lack of looking/calling/pursuing). We looked at a house today in the next town over (same school district though) that we are going to try and rent. The application is almost ready to go, but we are pretty sure, based on the lack of returned phone calls and the large number of realtor cards at the property, that the agent is SLOW, and maybe totally unconcerned about renting out the house. Most likely there are other applicants, and our credit and financial situation is by no means reassuring to landlords. So it is a big prayer that our application will stand out and that they will move along the process quickly (hopefully the fact that we can move in right away will be to our benefit). Oh, and they don't allow a dog, which we are asking them to make an exception to. Our current landlord left Justin a message on Friday, "making sure we are on target for moving out April 1st", so we don't think there is much leniency with her (a few days maybe). There are so many people praying for our situation, and we thank you for your part. Anything will be a miracle for sure!
This is the kids' spring break, though it will be very lack-luster, as just about everything is packed. We head to the city once to see the lipids specialist, and really nothing else too exciting. Justin and I enjoyed a night out as the guest of one of his union bosses. We were all gussied up to watch Justin's dad retire! I will post the picture in a day or two, I was in a hurry to pass along this prayer request. And Justin did apply for a higher paying job in the city, that could require us to move there (another long shot, but it doesn't hurt to try). From our past experiences we know that God tends to wait until the last minute to answer prayers, and that He often gives us options, so we will see what happens. Personally, I am hoping to relax a little sometime in the next few months :) !
