Pumpkin Time

It is pumpkin time again! This year we didn't venture quite as far west, but we found a farm that had a corn maze, along with fairly cheap pumpkins. The kids had a blast and the weather was beautiful. And you can kind of see Anna and Heidi's new glasses (it was cheaper to buy two pairs, so Heidi lucked out and got some too). And Justin and I were able to visit our new nephew, who is quite the cutie! It was a busy weekend, but a fun one.

Emily's appointment to the lipids specialist last week went well. The doctor wanted NIH's number right away, as he plans to discuss any additional medicine with them first. He can put Emily on medicine that will bring down her triglycerides, but there are side effects that involve the liver and pancreas, so he is not sure he wants to do that just yet. We also had several blood tests done for different doctors, and I am waiting to hear those results. We have one appointment a month for a little while, but they are here at our local hospital, so it is sort of a break. Luke has two teeth that are ready to fall out, but he won't let me pull them. Overall, there is nothing too new here. We are just enjoying some routine!
