Finally!

Hooray, Luke finally lost his first tooth! It was so loose, just hanging on by a little bit, so I had to pull it for fear of him loosing it in his sleep. The tooth fairy has yet to visit as he wanted to take it to school to show the class. The one next to it is almost ready too!

And the good news is our nutritionist is finally working with another nutritionist from our genetics doctor (who probably also works with the nutritionist from the lipids specialist) to change Emily's feedings a little. We will continue with Neocate Jr., but lessen the amount. In exchange we will be adding something called Polycose to her feedings. Polycose will be adding calories, thru carbohydrates, rather than fat. So the overall goal is to reduce how much fat we are giving Emily, which is what we should have begun doing well over a year ago, but no one knew how or was interested in taking the first step. I have to wait to see if our state insurance will pay for it and who we can get it from, but I am pretty excited about it. And we are all loving this beautiful fall weather, too bad it can't stay like this year round!
