present time!
This past week was the climax of our summer, it was a busy one, and we have very few plans here on out. All the kids enjoyed our church's theater production week. I was thrilled to be back in the costume closet, doing some sewing and whatnot. I really enjoy meeting so many different ladies from the church. Luke and Emily were able to hang out with a few other kids for a change. And Heidi and Anna had a blast learning songs and meeting new friends. Their performance was Saturday night and both girls did a great job delivering their lines. Then Sunday was the party for our 9 year olds, though we were a bit disappointed that so much of our families were unable to attend. Hopefully, we will find a place and be settled before school starts and everyone can come to a big party bash to celebrate. Heidi and Anna asked for tacos for the party and we all enjoyed a sundae bar for dessert, complete with flip flop cookies. We always appreciate everyone coming to wish the kids a happy birthday, they enjoy it so much!We look forward to the festivities of 4th of July, and then we head to NIH at the end of July, but otherwise things should be pretty quiet around here. Justin was told on Friday that he is slated to be laid off in a few months. We know things change quickly, and often, in the business, but we are begging God to keep him working. Nothing on the housing front yet, we are chasing a few leads and trying to trust God to work out all the details.
