Plugging Away

Here are some photos from two weekends ago, my parents treated us to a two-night hotel stay. It was the first time the kids have gone ice skating (Emily didn't use skates of course) and they did really well. We had perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors! There really is nothing else too new to share. No work for Justin, we still have to buy our plane tickets for Maryland (only two weeks away), and the older kids continue to enjoy school. We all had a cough go around, but we are healthy now. We sure have had our share of illness this winter. We still haven't heard from insurance about paying for Emily's formula, but the nutritionist wants to change it anyway so we will have to start the whole process again. She is trying to find the formula that is the most broken down so that Emily's body won't have to work so hard to process it. Emily is talking like crazy, she loves to tell me all about her day while she is falling asleep. Heidi and Anna are doing a great job reading. We can't get away with spelling out words we don't want the kids to hear, the girls figure out what we are saying right away. Luke is learning his letters and sounds quickly and his teacher said he is becoming quite the social butterfly in his class. I am starting to worry a little with this warmer weather on the way as I packed most of our spring/summer clothes deep in my parent's sunroom. Hopefully we can move in April (to take advantage of the buyer tax credit), otherwise you will see us wearing our winter clothes despite the rising temperatures!
