As you can see our robin has laid her four eggs (we learned this is the normal number for a robin). It is funny to watch her sitting on them and rolling them around the nest (to prevent them from sticking to the shell and to make sure they are evenly warmed).
We had our realtor open house today. It seems like there are not a whole lot of people out there looking right now, but we had a few realtors come thru, all who had nice things to say. The main suggestion thus far has been to lower the price. If we were putting the money towards another mortgage I would be more willing to drop, but when we are hoping to pay cash for the next place I want to try to get every last dollar, and it has only been on the market for 10 days or so. And I fully expect someone to come in and offer less, so that gives us some wiggle room.
Emily also had her physical today. Her lymph nodes are swollen, which the dr thought was strange since it has been 3 weeks since she got sick with the stomach flu. So she has to get some blood work and a chest x-ray done to make sure there is nothing else going on. She has already gained some good weight.
Justin never did hear from the last company, he has repeatedly called the superintendent who was supposedly out of town and then sick. There has been another company who kept telling Justin to call back every few weeks until a job opened up, but this last time they said it wasn't going to happen. It seems like every door is closing, every time we think there is a small possibility, it falls thru.
We have received several phone calls from the school district, there are several confirmed cases of the swine flu in our district, but not in our school. Never a dull moment I tell you!
