We had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving. We had good family time and good food, and some coughing added in. The kids are slowly passing along a cold/cough, Emily is the last one to get it so she is not feeling well today. It was nice to have a break from school and enjoy some relaxing days. We did get some good news a few days ago. We thought that Justin's unemployment was totally out, and that we had exhausted all emergency funds. God answered our prayers and another emergency fund kicked in, one that will carry over for several months. We are so thankful for this provision as it will allow us to still move out (possibly next weekend) and will hopefully buy us some time for Justin to find a job more fitted to our needs. One inspection company called him in for an interview, but they could only offer him 8-10 hours at that time (it was while he was working so he didn't want to leave one job for another). However, they do expect for business to pick up in the next month or so, so maybe work is right around the corner. Emily sees the orthopaedic doctor tomorrow; we will see what he says about Emily's feet and spine. And the kids are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new cousins, who are due here any day!!
